I was born in Istanbul in 1980. I have been learning, producing, teaching since then. Since 2003, I have been continuing to produce within the body of VCS Film and Music Production, which I founded: Films, documentaries, animations, commercials, promotional films. Since 2022, I have been working as a
Certified Davinci Resolve Expert and Trainer at Mediacast Türkiye.
Every stage of a film production is very valuable and special.
I enjoy each one individually.
However, I am a post-production guy.
For me, the film ends in post.

Cenk KAPTAN
Producer, Director, 3D Artist, Director of Photography, Video Editor, Colorist
- He was born on September 3, 1980 in Istanbul. After completing his primary and secondary education, he graduated from Istanbul (Kenan Evren) Anatolian High School Foreign Language (English and French) department in 1998.
- He graduated from Niğde University Vocational School Radio-TV Broadcasting (Associate Degree) Department in 2001, to which he enrolled in 1999.
- In 2004, he transferred vertically to Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema-TV department and completed his undergraduate education with a scholarship in 2007.
- He graduated from Beykent University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Cinema-TV (Main Branch of Art) in 2010, which he entered in 2007.
- In 2010, he earned Proficiency in Art (PhD) at Beykent University Social Sciences Institute, but did not register.
- Between 2007 and 2009, he started his teaching career at Aydın Doğan Anatolian Communication Vocational High School and Adı Güzel Fine Arts High School, where he specialized in 3D Animation and modeling, video editing, special visual effects and scenario lessons.
- He started his academic career in the 2014-2015 academic season with audio and video editing courses at Yeni Yüzyıl University Fine Arts Department, Cinema, TV Department and Visual Communication Design Department.
- Producer of cinema and musical works approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.
- Three-dimensional modeling and animation artist. He has prepared 3D and 2D animations for many productions for 15 years.
- He undertook the production and management of the music videos and concert recordings of many popular and underground artists, especially Babazula, Yaşar Günaçgün, Bülent Ortaçgil, Feridun Düzağaç, Çelik and Ezginin Günlüğü.
- Advertising, documentary cinema and short film director.

Sen Kimsin?
The documentary film “Sen Kimsin?” directed by Cenk Kaptan, which started filming in 2020, focuses on the topic of “the situation of independent music and musicians in Turkey during the pandemic.” The film successfully reached the finals in the documentary category at the 60th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
Makarneks Lezzet Drone’ları İş Başında
In 2015, he directed and handled the post-production of the viral advertising project titled “Makarneks Lezzet Drone’ları İş Başında”, created for Ülker’s Makarneks product.
Omsan Lojistik A.Ş. Corporate Promotional Film
In 2014, the corporate promotional film for Omsan Logistics, which he produced and directed, was awarded the Bronze Stevie Award at the International Business Awards, an event that is considered one of the most prestigious in the business world, with 3,000 companies participating globally.
Ben Çocukken
The documentary film “Ben Çocukken”, which he began preparations and research for in 2007, focusing on the topic of lost street games, was released in 2012.
Mukadderat
In 2010, the short film Mukadderat, written and directed by the user, competed as a finalist at the 47th International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. Mukadderat also achieved a historic milestone in Turkish cinema as the first film to have its music improvised live in front of the audience during the screening.
38 Derece
In 2010, the short film “38 Derece”, for which the user served as producer and assistant director, won over 10 awards, including Best Film, at various competitions across the country.
Maalle
In 2010, the short film “Maalle”, produced for DASK, was honored with the Jury Special Award.
Şafakta Çanakkale
In 2007, the user collaborated with their mentor, Yalçın Yelence, on a documentary titled “Şafakta Çanakkale”.
